Our Programs

We run multiple programs to support young women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Outreach

Outreach

Our outreach program exists to help those people who are sleeping rough in the Ipswich area. Sleeping rough could be anything from couch surfing, sleeping in a car, or out on the streets. This program goes out into the community and delivers essential items and warm clothing and bedding to those who are living under these conditions.

The Future

Hannah’s House is striving toward our third house. This house will become apart of our transitional housing network, but offer a long term housing option with the added support of the Hannah’s House mobile support team.

At this stage we are looking for land so we can build a custom made house. We are planning for it to be a 3-to-4-bedroom share house for clients who have shown positive outcomes toward independent living. This house will allow young women to live in a safe and independent situation with heavily subsidised rent allowing them to plan beyond.

Our next goal

Our next goal is to acquire accommodation, funding, and training for us to accommodate young mothers. At this stage, we are not equipped to have babies in our crisis shelter or transitional house. There are many people needing our service who have or are having a child, and we want to be in a position where we can help.
