Crisis Accomodation

How does it work?

Hannah’s House provides crisis accommodation for young women aged 16-17 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in our 5 bedroom crisis shelter in Ipswich. 24 hour supervision and support is provided by staff who assist residents to gain independent living skills required during their stay and for moving toward independence and sustaining safe and stable housing.

Residents are provided person centred case management with regular assessment of need, information and advice, support to access specialist services, education and work opportunities and engage and connect to community. We work collaboratively with specialised services and stakeholders and provide ongoing support after exiting the crisis shelter to support sustaining outcomes.

Hannah’s House offers an environment that aligns with our belief that every young woman has a right to dignity, a supportive community and opportunity to achieve their goals.
